I have two cats but they mostly catch little things. I have learned not to wander around with bare feet first thing in the morning, for fear of stepping on half a mouse.

The cats have learned too. They now carefully place their catch inside my shoe. That way I am sure to find it when I put the shoe on, and I'm sure to have bare feet at the time.
