I just purchased Petzl's new Tikka LED headlamp and not only is it tiny, but bright as well. It runs on 3 AAA batteries and claims a battery life of 12h at full power and up to 150hr at increasingly diminishing brightness. Although is does not seem to be as well made as the Princeton Tec headlamps (or as weatherproof), it is MUCH smaller and MUCH brighter than the competing Matrix. The three LED's combined seem to be the equivalent of three Photon II's. More as I put it through its paces this weekend...<br><br>
