Reminds me of putting in at Gibralter on the Queen Mum's 99th Birthday (May God rest her soul), and after taking on water and fuel, off-loading two casualties to the Royal Navy Hospital there; we received an invitation to the Royal Birthday Party to be held that night.

Alas, we had to leave to proceed to do some training with the Morroccan Navy in that 40days/nights period of mourning over the death of their King. At least we were able to get beer @ the Seaman's Church Institute (a truly great friend of sailors) in Casablanca, Morrocco.
