It is my intention to publish all of my survival kits on this forum as a way to generate plenty of discussion. I have six levels of survival kits. My EDC is the first level. All criticism whether positive or negative is welcome. Here it is.

I could get arrested for carrying a kife on my person so this gives you an idea of mt personal situation.

On my key chain
2 ft Lanyard
2 Split Rings
1 P38
1 Photon II
1 Fox 40 (glow in the dark)

In my wallet
1 Credit Card
1 Drivers License
1 Tool-Logic Deluxe
1 Spyderco Plain Edge
10 Twenty Dollar Bills sewn into lining
4 Quarters
1 Emergency Phone Numbers card
1 Morse Code card

In Altoids Tin
6 800 mg Motrin
4 500 mg Acetaminaphin
2 Pepcid AC
6 Pepto Bismol
5 Benadryl
2 Immodium
3 Povidone Iodine Swabs
20 Yds Dental Floss
20 Yds 20lbs fishing line with attached sewing awl
30 Potable Aqua in glass vial
2 sticks of gum
6 large safety pins
2 Rubber Bands around kit

In Pocket
1 Red Bandana
1 White Hankerchief
1 Bic Lighter

On Belt
1 Cell Phone with extra battery

Appropiate Clothing
Everything in my brain

I plan to add a GPS watch with compass. Hey sounds cool. Is that the Casio Protrek GPS you talk about? Coooool watch man. I also like the new Casio Trisensor in Titanium....reaaaaal cool man.
I haven't researched the watches as of yet. My first requirement is that the watch is rugged. Normall I carry a Casio G-shock but the bands on that thing only last me a day.

Secondly I need to find one that emits a beacon of some sort. The whole premise is that I have been abducted or am trapped in a building and I can now signal rescue workers whether unconscius or not.

I've heard a rumor that there is a mini-epirb that you where as a watch.
Tried the Breitling Emergency?

It'll emit a signal on the 121.5 MHz distress band. (There's also a military version for 250MHz, but unsurprisingly that's only available to the military!)
DF: Thanks for undertaking to post your lists. I'm actually collecting lists with the idea of abstracting some general criteria. So I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of your lists and adding them to my collection.

Thanks!
Yes you speak of the Breitling Emergency. WOW what a watch!!!! That one is in another league though and quite costly. They now also have cell phones with built-in GPS like the Benefon ESC! and the Garmin also have a cell phone GPS unit now.
