BSA doesn't sell obver the internet in order to "protect" their retail distribution network. On one hand I understand the need becasue small Mom & Pop retailers want some guarantee of sales when they spend their cash to stock uniforms and patches in their store. If I can buy over the internet I may never visit their store. On the other hand, they're missing a great market opportunity to sell not only products, but the program as well by expanding the branding of scouting into camping and other outdoor gear, Oh, well.<br><br>Your best bet is to find a used book online via eBay or Amazon.com. Amazon has several for sale, one for $5.<br><br>BTW, You can buy the repront of the original 1911 BSA manual. I have it and it's an interesting read. My how things have changed!
