I just bought some "lifeboat" matches (Pro-Force wind and waterproof safety matches) from REI. My problem is that i want to put them into my survival tin but I only seem to be able to light them on the "sandpaper like" stuff glued to the top of the container. Does anyone have any tricks so that i dont have to carry the container with me all of the time?
