Well, finally got around to going to the ONLY Army/Navy store within a 50 mile drive to rummage around and see what kinds of bargains I could get. I like to support small local businesses whenever I can and since it was a nice day for a ride I gave them a chance.
Saw a few things that I want/need but they don't carry any 550 para cord at all. This is something that I have been thinking about adding to my GHB and also for my camping equipment. I would also like to try making a belt with it.
Where do you find it? On-line I guess, huh? Who has pretty good prices and stocks various colors.

A while back I was looking for some Red 550 to go with a ton of Survival and Car Kits I was putting together for friends and relatives and got a great deal on 1000' at Supply Captain.

They sell it in 100' lengths and a bunch of different colors as well.

One word about CountyComm: it took them a little over a week to get my cord to me. So if you're in the mood for a little faster shipping, you might think about another distributer. On the other hand, they do have more than OD, tan, and black.

I really like the bright orange paracord from CountyComm, though they do have more subdued tones.
