Hello ETS Forum Members,

I would like to introduce myself as a new member. My name is Glen McAdams(kmat) and I live in Spring, Texas. I happened upon the ETS site looking for an LED light and PSK. I have been a member for about a week now and have been reading up on past info. You have made available a wealth of knowledge and some humor that brings tears to my eyes. I have enjoyed catching up on some of your topics and sources to some very informative sites this week.
I was raised on the Brazos river and grew up camping and hiking in the Granbury area. My dad was the local scout master and an employee of the Soil Conservation Service. (We had access to most of the farms and ranches in our county)We were spoiled to the outdoors. My dad was interested in survival skills and taught us alot of what he knew. I wish some times I had paid closer attention. He was skilled at edible and medicinal wild plants and could drive you nuts with scientific names and uses for about anything that grows.

I am Chiropractor in the Spring area. If anyone would like to get together and do a little bench racing/ talking please feel free to contact me.

Thanks again for all the info and advice you have shared.

Kmat

Welcome to the fire Glen!

For those keeping score at home, this makes the third Equipped.com member in my town (Spring, TX) plus several more a stone's throw away.

I told you I live in a great place!

Thanks for the welcome! I recognize your names from the many posts I have read. Ya'll(Tx Native) have kept me in laughter for hours with your humor. I have picked up some very useful info from each of you. It looks as if I am going to be busy getting up to speed with progects for the coming season.
Thanks again,
kmat

I agree. That is such a valuable lost art.

Glad to have you here Glen, you've already provided a great tip:

"Never squat with your spurs on!"

Keep up the good work! grin
