UK National Health Service Preperation and Planning for Flu Pandemic

The report only assumes 2-3% mortality rate after infection. Real Bird flu is getting on for 50%. Consequently if we assume 50% mortality and apply it to the report we would have approx 1/8 of the UK population dead. The UK is apparently one of the most prepared countries in the world. A definite TEOTWAWKI event. The only way to prevent being infected is to hide under the Duvet for 3-6 months with the lights off. Oh sorry the lights will be off anyway.
