Reading some reviews of lights with the Cree 7090 XR-E LED, it appears that it delivers twice the lumens for the same runtime as a Luxeon LED. I've resisted buying a Fenix simply because I have too many other good lights, but I decided to get the L2D CE -- common AA batteries; dim, medium & bright and a super bright strobe mode. Thanks for mentioning it.
