Saw 300 today. Great movie! Lots of action, blood and guts, and a pretty good story line too. A great guy movie. There was some nice eye candy too (the Oracle).

Many of the Spartans are around my age, so I gotta go work on my eight pack now.

As usual, I will probably wait 'til it comes out on DVD...

OUTSTANDING MOVIE!

Not a movie I would bring a date or spouse to, a guy movie for sure. Myself and a buddy brought his son and two friends, we all enjoyed the movie.

Awesome flick! Great story and it is about a true event that is lectured about in military learning institutions to this day.

It proves that a small, well trained elite force with the command of the most strategic terrain can match a much larger force; Location, location,location.

I understand the Iranians (Persians) are getting their "panties in a wad" over the movie, so it is probably worth seeing.

I couldn't care less what the Iranians think of what we say or do. They are about to get their backsides handed to them again, and still they haven't learned anything. Khaddafi was smart enough to learn that life is much easier when you cooperate, rather than antagonize.

I wonder what 300 well trained spec ops guys could do to them now? I suppose the Israelis will let us know soon. When was the last time they won anything? When they took biblical Israel captive? 3000 years is a long time to go without a win.

This "Humane Warfare" kick we've been on for the last 50 years really sucks. What's it gonna take for us to unleash the dogs of war and show the world why we are the best, again. I never saw a problem with "Manifest Destiny" or "Capitalistic Imperialism". So far as I can tell, no one else out there has a system that even comes close to what we have. To me, the best way to solve the illegal immigrant problem is make whole western hemisphere USA. At least that would be a good start.
