I don't think it will ever get made into law, but at least someone in government still understands the constitution.

I didn't go to the original section being changed to compare what is now and what is proposed to change, but I happen to think that child safety locks are not all bad, considering how irresponsible some "adults" are with guns around their kids. My kids were gunproofed at an early age, but all too often you read about little Johnny shooting little Billy with the handgun dad Bubba left laying around.
