This is a link to a presentation I put together for our county amateur radio emergency service org. The goal was to motivate member hams to put together a real 72 hr deployment kit. This is oriented more around supporting hams taking volunteer communication assignments than survival, but there are certain similarities.

This sounds to me like an outstanding idea! The number of times that Hams have stepped in & provided emergency communications, is astronomical! Bravo Zulu on getting such an idea going!!!

I'm having difficulty viewing the pdf file (unless it's in secret code). The pictures come thru fine, and btw look great, but the text is all jumbled.

Is it just me?

Dang! I have know idea. It was done with a 3rd party freeware PDF converter, which works for most doc. I've had a problem or two with a graphic, but nothing severe. Maybe I should post a downloadable copy of the original powerpoint.

Everything worked fine for me. Finally, my computer let me do something that someone else's won't...
