I can't see the pictures on either of your last 2 posts. Is it my browser, or is everyone not seeing these?

Looks good:
A water-carrier and triangulair bandage would be handy. How about adding a whistle?

As a follow-up, I carry with this kit (EDC) my wallet, sunglasses, cell phone, water and snacks.

I've always heard SAK used for "Swiss Army Knife" so I was a little confused when I did't see one in the photos.

Just a suggestion, but maybe you could remove the packaging for the tape and chapstick to reduce bulk ?

Execllent idea. I sometimes leave the items in their origional packaging to show stundents, then later remove it for packing.
Thanks,

Follow-up: Its all packed in a zipper make-up case from Target. I like that its tough, though not waterproof, and you can see the contents.

PS I'll likely add a striker flint in the future for more fire-starting options.

Follow-up notes:
I've been carrying this for 6+ months now. Its got a few twists on a standard kit -- a fresnel lens, cheap signal mirror and CPR mask. The knife is light, flat and mid-sized -- three things I like for a kit knife.
It lacks food, shelter or a container to use for purifying the water; but I use it for biking/ hiking, so I have a water container along.

I have had my most carried kit evolve into this. Mostly because it is amaller and lighter then most my PSK or FAK. Just the basics. If you don't carry it then it will do you no good. cheers

The next add for this kit od some sort of water carrying bag -- either Naglene, platypur or just a quart ziplock.
