The song is the Main Title from The Last Of The Mohicans Motion Picture sound track. Last of the Mohicans sound track on Amazon

One of my favorites. Great movie as well.

Wow! Thanks for such a prompt and perfect response to my curiosity! I knew I had heard that music before, but I would have never guessed that it was from "The Last of the Mohicans". I was checking soundtracks of movies that were more Celtic, like "Braveheart" and the "Highlander" series.

Actually, the song is called "The Gael" and is a classic Irish tune that was used in the soundtrack for the movie. I rather like the movie version. I was privileged to hear a rendition of it done by the British Petroleum all Brass band that was truly amazing.

You can't help listening to a tune like that without having your soul get stirred I think.
