I have posted in the Pro Belt Survival Kit thread about what I've carried in my money belt.

Department stores for one like a leather dress belt. Outdoors stores for the webbing & plastic buckles. Leather shops for a well built leather belt. The thin leather ones you find in places like Sears or JCPennys will crack where the leather goes through the buckle. The one made from webbing with the plastic buckle that I've had failed at the joints in the buckle (I don't remember if it was Eagle Creek or a no-name belt). I currently have one from a leather shop. The inside, thicker half of the belt is the same weight as both layers of the thin belt. It is faced with what looks like a good quality piece of belt leather thicker than the pieces of the thin one. It forms the outside & doesn't have to hold the stress except from bending. These will not hold anything that isn't flat. Some cash/copy of passport, hacksaw blade, etc. would fit.

Nomad,

This is my Pacsafe. It's a heavy-duty nylon bag lined on the inside with a coated steel mesh. You lock it to the sink drain or some other immoble item in your hotel room. This particular model isn't big enough for a laptop computer, but it will hold cell phone, camera, and assort other stuff like that all at the same time. I love it for travelling.

Thanks. I will pick one up. Looks like just what I need when traveling. Been looking for something like that for awhile. Thanks again.
