Ever wanted to know how to drive in a wartime environment? After all getting stopped makes yourself a target, so you just gotta keep going ....right?
Well, here's a video instructional driving course, just for you! Straight from our friendlies in their hummers over in iraq

http://news.windingroad.com/videos/video-how-soldiers-drive-in-iraq/

This video is awesome. Obviously it's not intended as an instructional video but boy you sure learn something (like not to stop in front of a hummer).

I wonder if they make an after market cow-catcher / ramming bar for my SUV? Drop it into 4WD-Low and evacuation traffic jams can be a thing of the past...

Nothing like giving a bus a 'get outta my way' love tap.
Just buy some bully bars and slap em on there.

Before I even watch this, I recall an episode on a national guard unit over there, driving down some street in Fallujah, and, every now & again, you would hear rifle fire, then the gunner would stick his head down into the HMMWV (he was in the turret) and yell "WARNING SHOT!" It happened like 5 times, & was hilarious!

EDIT: Ok, after watching this, you gotta say, there are some SERIOUSLY bad drivers/pedestrians there. I mean, a big truck, honking its horn, coming up behind you, and you gotta wait to get bumped? I like the "shoot them, they'll move" strategy better. One hears gunshot, they ALL react.

Reminds me of something related. Which is an all round Best Way to Flee someone Pursueing you with a Pistol or Handgun. I've so read to do so in something of a Zig Zag fashion. While of course also increasing your Distance from your Persuer. Combined with the increasing Inaccuracy of such a shot with increasing Distance, -this Method Best Maximizes your Chances of Avoiding and Evading such a shot!

Also, -if say in a parking lot, -Coupling this with a Zigzagging between parked Vehicles, -would also come in Helpful and Handy.

(And remember the News Clip from a few years ago, -of the guy in a Suit and Tie, -Dodging Close Range Gunshots from behind a conveniently placed Tree!?)(I remember this as occurring during the Leadup to Gulf War Two. And wondering what saadam hussein would be thinking of it. Still in Power, -Chances are reasonably likely he saw such footage). [color:"black"] ScottRezaLogan

All that traffic. Where do they get the gas. Oh, I forgot...

I hope the driver can make the transition to US traffic real fast when he/she gets home, or I see a lot of trips before the judge...
