Since you can now obtain a GPS/wristwatch, why doesn't someone make a LED/wristwatch? Paste a Photon L2 and a Casio wristwatch together, so the wearer would always have the time and a light.

Or is such a product available, and I just unaware of it?

I have used the LED which illuminates the face of my watch on occasion to give some light (it is only of value in very dark environments, like caves), but I would like something that is always available and that gives enough light to walk briskly.

While it is possible your wristwatch has an LED illuminating the face, it is more likely electro-luminescence. The same technology used in a Krill Light, which is different than an LED. Pete

I recently saw at my local JC Penny store (back in the jewelry repair area) a pocketwatch with a red LED flashlight built it. It appeared to be relatively dim, as any photon would be brighter.
I'd think it'd be rather awkward to use a flashlight of any kind when strapped to the top of one's wrist. If you're prone to losing your keys, you could simply attach the light to a string or chain around your neck.

There are those finger lights the military uses, have you seen these?

http://www.countycomm.com/light7.htm
