I think they will both get too hot to handle if left lit for more than a few seconds. I have one of the Blank 1000 Match Lighter called a metal match when I bought it.

It works great but does get very hot. So if you have your tinder bundle prepared and just need a quick flame, great. Need a flame longer than that and it might not be very practical.

If you are looking for cheap and small, I would rather have a BSA hotspark like this one:
