With Murphy and his Law being such a driving force towards being prepared, I found this article pretty fascinating:
Origin of Murphy's Law
It's a overview of the book History of Murphy's Law. Pretty cool.

Well. There goes a bunch of my life I'll never get back. Lucky for me, I was getting paid for that time.

Mr.Markantes where ever do you come up with these things!? Interesting post. Reading it reminded me of the many adventures I've experienced in my short time on this earth. Many were amazingly smooth. Many turned out, with the help of Murphy's, to be a complete JAFA I'm lucky I walked away from. They all create amazing memories and I hope I learned a little something from all of them.

You also need to remember Moore's Corollary to Murphy's Law:
When something goes wrong, anything done to improve the situation only makes it worse.

In case any of you are wondering where Mr Murphy is:

He's at my house. Lives in my garage and "helps" me with every vehicle problem that I have. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />
