i am not comfortable messing with this at all so i guess i will just have to bring it to a professional and have them try and recover it. Best buy says they can do 9 Gb of retrieval for 99$ or unlimited for 169$. I'll just have to wait until i have the money and see if it is retrievable. thanks for your help everyone.
