Hmm, gunsmith. I have an old black powder rifle that was my grandfathers grandfathers. It was made by Great Western Gun works which my searching says went out of business in the early 1900's. I need a hammer for it and the shaft the hammer pivots on. I have the shaft but the screw that holds the hammer on is stripped out and he didn't have the right hammer for it as its off by 45 degrees. I would like to restore it to shooting condition, its pretty rough so I don't think I could get it back to a collection worthy state but would like to shoot it a few times then put it away and pass it down to my grandkids someday. Do you have any resources for parts and how to restore books?
