This morning I was looking throught the Buck catelogue and saw a few potential knifes to be used for me as my main fixed blade survial knife. But a catelogue can tell you only so much. What it can't tell me is the feel, how practical it is and it doesnt tell other people's opinion (not that I expected to)...
So here are the ones which could have a future to be on my belt (they all have been chosen on information supplied in the catelogue).
1) BuckCote Vanguard -R (692Z4)
2)BuckCote Special Serrated (119X1)
3)Special (119)
Your thoughts are appreciated
Reinhardt
The vanguard is a pretty good knife. It has a good balance and good proportions. I donīt like serrated blades. They are not as precise as smooth edges and they are much harder to sharpen.
