I also have one that lists medicinal uses for common kitchen spices (allspice, nutmeg, cayenne, etc) but it's REALLY long so if you are interested IM me and I can get it to you somehow. It comes out to 11 printed pages so.....

Another useful book is "The Herbalist" by Joseph Meyer. Found my copy at a yard sale for a quarter and it's an awesome source of info. It has colorplates, drawings, do's don'ts, recipes and a load of other info for the beginner as well as the expert.
