...I have also briefed a couple people that, if they receive a txt message from me saying "SOS" and listing coordinates, write those down exactly and send calvary. Granted, if I have further connectivity, I'll exchange more information. But, as has been discussed, txt msgs may sometimes be a last alternative and hit and miss.
