I did raise them for snakes but oddly enough I have never actually owned a boa for more than a couple of hours (I've been in the herp trade for about 15 years now). I've owned pretty much everything else though. Those rubbermaid containers are lifesavers for me. They house my spider collection at the moment, and they also serve well for soup mixes, condiments, and other assorted flat packaged items. The only downsides they have are bulky size and not watertight. I found out when I started keeping venomous, a little tape goes a long way to ensuring what you put in them stays in them. They are also a breeze to clean since not very much will stick to them.
