What is the difference between the RSK's mks; i.e. mk 1, mk 3 etc?

The mk I is the pocket knife, while the mk 3 is a full tang sheath knife. Thats the basic of it.

Did the blade steel change or am I not remembering right? According to my wife, I'm wrong most of the time, so I may be not understanding this.

The blade steel is S30v for both the Mk1 and the Mk3. There was a limited run of M2 steel with the Mk1.

Those are both outstanding knives.
