I think she just wanted to light her cigarette, didn't she? I've never heard that she ever had a problem lighting a FIRE. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

By the way, I once met an elderly couple in a campground (Sierras,I think) and the wife liked to go for walks, but her DH didn't. One day I heard him yell after her, "If you need help, just whistle". As she stopped to say Hi to me on her way down the path, I asked if she knew how to whistle (I don't), and she said she didn't, but she would "just use this" and pulled out a little personal alarm, where you just break the connection and it shrieks. She said the literature with it said it would blow for 20 minutes on the available batteries.

I thought that was a good idea for someone who can't do well blowing a whistle for whatever reason.
