Do you have sense living like 007 by carrying around these small survival items with you? I do feel like 007 with my gadgets, survival items.

Since I've never seen a James Bond movie, I'd have to say no.

as a matter of fact it is a manual EMS defirbilator, along with a full set of ALS gear. I have two more in my office here at home.

That could also be used as the "ultimate" spark generator for fire starting!

Warstory: During my basic EMT class back in 1992 we were being shown a manual defib and as the "instructor" was showing how everything worked he managed to punch the buttons there was bright flash, more than a few explicatives and an earlier than normal break time. Honestly was the highlight of the class.

So we are working a CODE (a.k.a. Cardiac Arrest) one day; patient dry, little chest hair, defib pads on properlly. go to deliever 200j and BANG! FLASH! Now the wife is crying, my partner is saying "ma'am it's okay that happens sometimes" I look at the monitor and he had converted into a sinus rhythm, ugly but it wasn't V-fib anymore. a few minutes later we had a pulse. Looking at the pads, there were burn marks on the back of both pads. Still no clue why, we did the whole FDA reporting thing and no one has any clue as to what happened... but hey, energy was delievered and the guy survived, until the next time at least. I am pretty sure we all heard a second set of bangs due to puckerfactor.

lol, Is it that strange that I haven't seen a James Bond movie? T.V. and movies are pretty low on my list of entertainment. I'd rather be doing oither things.

Nope for a couple of reasons:

1. I don't like martinis
2. 007 drives a cooler car than I do (although I do think a Jeep Grand Wagoneer is a classic).
3. My Darling Bride won't let me get the "chicks" like he does.

I could keep going but why bother!

Has anyone else noticed the cat's disappearing act? The moment Mr Bond appears, the cat's gone.

Two guess's as to who the real leader of S.P.E.C.T.R.E. is.....

you have to see one of Bond movie dude. You learn alot of tips in picking up chicks from Bond.

I certainly would like to dress like Bond everyday if I can afford it. Most jobs nowadays don't require people to dress well. Too bad. I miss the old days where people wear suits to work.

Since I'm not a dude I really don't think I would learn anything useful from James Bond. Like I said , movies and TV aren't my idea of entertainment, I'd rather spend my time outside enjoying life.
