I was in REI yesterday and saw a new one- or, at least, one I haven't seen before.

Called the "Stowaway", it's less bulky by far than the bullet. 3 7/8" long closed, it is not retractable- it's one of those designs with a removable cap. With the cap on the non-writing end it is 5 inches long, and that extra length does increase writing comfort noticably. The diameter of the cap is just one-quarter of an inch not counting the pocket clip, with the barrel being a bit slimmer. The local REI had them in brown and blue-gray, each with a gold colored pocket clip.

It does NOT seem to be refillable, and sold for $10, which might be a deterrent for everyday use, but for those who like the Fisher Space Pen, this is a fully capable, comfortable and good-looking version for not much more space/bulk than a refill alone. It's a little larger than the silver wallet-fold pen I carry (that I've described here before) and the clip is not really suited for that carry. Unfortunately, it's just a bit too long with the cap in place to rest lengthwise in an Altoids tin, though it does fit easily on a diagonal.

I'm a fan of the Fisher "Military" Pen for everyday office use- it's been reliable, sturdy, and it's stealth-black looks work fine even for status-conscious environments. I've even caught someone peering at it across a conference table trying to make out what it was. It has a decent, quality feel.

Caveat: There is a very similar-looking "Military" pen made by, I think, Eversharp. I bought two on a trip out of town, and have had nothing but trouble with them. Even after replacing the refills with Fisher, they are not nearly as nice.
