I want to say that dark choclate is....but im not sure. I heard that dark is good for you but you might wanna check it out.
i never go for healthy chocolate i just eat it whenever i do and then i just work off my butt harder to get those extra calories out. I like heath bars because they have a lower amount of calories in them and there one of the best candies ever.

You say that like you've never had chocolate. *a horrified and concerned look on my face*
ALL chocolate is healthy, in moderation. If you are talking about the antioxident count, dark chocolate, the darker the better. Everyone has dark chocolates these days, some of which is almost to the point of being baking chocolate.
The classic dark is the Hershy Special Dark. Ghirardelli has a dark out right now that makes your tounge tingle, it is about 60% cacoa. I think of all the readily availble chocolate lines, only Nestle doesn't have a dark.
You can get, if you are lucky, dark chocolate Toblerone, which if you've never had it, uses honey rather than cane sugar and adds hazlenuts. Anyone who turns there nose up at that one is either diabetic, dead or a pod person. <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

Once upon a time, there was something called a "d-bar", or more formaly "Ration, type D, Chocolate". It was part of every life raft and K-ration in WWII. It was a very hard, vitamine enriched chocolate bar that had a reputation for an "interesting" aftertaste. It was also stabilized somehow to raise it's melt point; I know it had oat flour and extra powdered milk in it, maybe that helped the melting.
Nowadays, just use M&Ms. Melts in your mouth, not in your pack. Just store them in a water tight container so if they squish.... Me, I'm looking for something like a dark chocolate bar, mini-sized, with peanuts or puffed rice in it, coated in in a thicker version of the hard shell that they use on M&Ms

German combat rations (EPA) had a chocolate bar in them. It did not melt even when left in car in summer. That bar was one of the things that usually were left over. The taste was not really satisfying (just to be polite). Probably you donīt even need to lock it away from children. Most wont finish their first bar let alone try another one.
