Does anyone know if there is a chocolate candy out there that is more resistant to melting (other than M&Ms) and stores well for emergency purposes? Just to put a preparedness aspect on this thread.... <img src="/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
On the "living well" aspect, I can personally vouch for the quality of Ghirardelli dark chocolate. I've also found a brand called Scharfen Berger that is really great for baking.
Though I'm not really a fan of putting lots of chemicals in "diet" food to make up for the ingredients they don't have, there are some low-sugar chocolates out there for diabetics that are actually pretty tasty.
