do you guys have any gadgets that might fit 007? <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> I saw the new bond movie today. I have the bond 007 watch and small survival knife, night ops gladius LED tactical flashlight. I always want to dazzle people with my stuff.

The Bond of the movies, or the Bond of the books. If you haven't read any of the books, I highly suggest them. Less flash, more substance.

Goldfinger is probably the best. Otherwise you can read them in order. There is more continuity to the books than the films. For example, the opening scenes of Goldfinger hack back to the events of Casino Royale.

I haven't read many of them, just the couple my brother owns. But I would agree in order is probably best since they really are more of a series unlike the movies which don't follow any real pattern (atleast the newer ones don't). I enjoyed From Russia With Love, partly because I like trains. Its also the first novel where Bond receives a gadget from Q-branch.

I read all of the books years ago, and they were much better than any of the movies.
As for having 007 gear, I read that he can kill with a pencil or rolled up newspaper. Got some of those around somewhere...

I love the Bond genre -- read all the books before I hit 7th grade, and the new film is great (except for the theme song). But my favorite spy-using-civilian-tools example is in one of the Jason Bourne movies, where he blows up an apartment using a newspaper, a toaster, and the gas line in the kitchen.
