Maybe the forum could put together a guide book of Doug's info. and the members information that has been posted. There is a wealth of information from very knowledgeable members. I myself , would be willing to donate for one. For instance, an insiders list of hard to find items. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to buy a couple of the sparklite containers. Just a thought.

Regards
Hunter

Why cut down perfectly good trees waiting for our paracord? All the information is online here. Sparklite units are available from the maker; 4 Seasons, probably Barry @ Blueline & MajorSurplusNSurvival. ALl are listed in retail and manufacturers. ;O)

I won't comment on cutting down perfectly good trees (I think we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one), but I agree with Chris. I've found this web site to be very well set up. I've performed searches for different topics and have always easily found helpful information. I plan on ordering products from some of the dealers mentioned because of the testimonials given by the folks on this web site. Many thanks to Doug for getting this thing started and to all who contribute.

Well ETS site pretty much covers a lot when it comes to survival. What I really like about it is that multiple products are recommended yet none of them are chosen as definite. So if you want a flash light you will be recommended everything from a mag light to a candle and by rational thinking you will make a decision. What I would love to see are threads that exist on this forum to be put into a page that can be searched by a topic. Of course such a function already exists (Search by the key word within forum pages) but a page with just topic listening would be nice. I found topic about scuba diving very informative since it was nice to see what people bring with them on the boat. What I do here in NY is little different from what people do in Florida. There were some good posts and some average posts. If compiled and brought together they would make an interesting article about diving. Also topics on knives and executive survival were also very interesting. I think that pages like that would make a nice addition as a brain storming part to recommendations already made by Sir Doug or Sir Chris. With their permission I would love to give it a crack.

Matt
