I had a similar idea a couple of weeks ago, with less than perfect results. I always have some ChapStick (Cherry of course), and gum (Double good Double Mint) in my pocket, so I got to wondering what would happen if I smeared some ChapStick on the white paper gum wrapper. To make a long story short, didn't work. I even learned that the white paper, even if lit with a match, just doesn't burn all that well. Your way is morebetter...
