Dermabond is a product that is used for the repair of MINOR wounds. There is no justification for suturing a wound in the field, nor is there a need to do so.
All one needs to do in the field is remove foriegn matter and blood, prep it with an antiseptic such as betadine and apply a dressing. An suitable antibiotic would be nice in other than a minor wound, something active against staph and strep like Cefzil, Augmentin, or Keflex. Zithromax and others are not effective.
The dressing should be replaced and the wound cleaned daily. If there is no infection after three days, the wound can be sutured at your leisure.
Under NO circumstances should wound repair be attempted in the field for any conceivable reason. THere simply is no reason to suffer the extremely high risk of infection and complication.
