Heads up on that little bugger- it is NOT a climbers hook. It was made to be used by being thrown then dragged back to recover items close to explosives or snag detonation wires, move barbed wire, that kind of thing.

That being said, if I was likely to have people pointing such things at me, I'd want one to. :P

Here's something similar. Designed for water rescue, though. Very cool with the right training, but you definitely need to practice with them. Bring up a CrossLine to a group of kayakers and they'll usually abhor a "grappling hook".

It's also meant to snag other lines, but I think it's rated at 800 lbs breaking limit. Also not cheap, I think they're near $200. But it includes a pretty sweet throw bag (even without the hook) and a good spectra core rope.
