I was just at campmor, and I saw the Coghlans waterbottle carrier. It's a strappy thing that should hold most any water bottle. Has anyone tried one?

I'm thinking that if it works, a nalgene bottle with cup in the carrier, and add some molle-type pouches to the outside. Like a carrier for two pistol mags to hold a spare, robust folder and a surefire, and a pouch designed for two rifle mags to hold an expanded PSK. Or is the spacing wrong on the straps around the bottle?

It might work. if nothing else you could sew the others to it

Oh, I think it will work. My fear is the water bottle carrier disintigrating on me- I've had some less than stellar experinces with Cohglan's gear.
