Wondering how many people here are emergency responders of any kind. Kindly reply to the poll below!

This information is being collected both because I'm interested and to stimulate some interest in putting some more ads in the Marketplace!

I used to be an Army medic and county EMT, but I haven't been current for over 10 years.

I am a SAR volunteer with some first-aid, survival, radio comms, crime scene preservation, crisis management, public relations and other kinds of training required to do the job well.

I'm definately not an EMT, but I believe you should add a poll option for SAR type of work because I think I might be a little more qualified than the average joe nonetheless.

The "other public service agency" selecion should fit that bill.

Other: WFR (not sure if that counts, but I'm certified through NOLS/WMI and am a member of the Wilderness Medical Society).

Under "Other" I would list the true geeks of the emergency services world... The Amateur Radio operators of RACES and ARES.

It looks like 'Other' needs a whole separate poll by itself!
