I have had mine for 6-12 months. I can't really remember. But I carry mine as EDC and use it as needed. No problems.

I run mine with a lithium aaa and have also lightly wrapped the threads (threads only and not o ring) with teflon plubming tape. I have tested it in the shower to simulate heavy rain and fully submerged for about 30 minutes both on and off to simulate the dunking it might take in a stream crossing. No problems.
