I like the idea that they can withstand "temperature extremes". I'd like to keep something in my car. Temperatures inside a car can get over 120F, here in Phoenix, in the summer.

I bought a dozen from somewhere else because they said they were so dang good.... I've got 11 I'll send you for the shipping
I've tried them and found them to be similar in texture and density to Mainstay bars. I like the fact that they're individually packaged as single servings. I've only tried the coconut and raspberry flavors which were very good. I expect that the other flavors are equally good. You can get them from Emergency Essentials for .99 cents each. Here's a link Emergency Essentials
They're similar to Mainstay rations, only in smaller packages and they come in several flavors. I gave one to my 17 year old daughter (a picky eater), and she liked it. She would have probably preferred a Snickers, but we were camping and that's what we had. I have to add the disclaimer that she also thinks that MREs are cool.

I like datrex better than mainstay... I have a case of mainstay as it's not bad at all! datrex I can snack on any day of the week
