Mick,I have only seen these on EBAY with one major seller over here. My unit with S/H was just under $19 USD. Mark, these folks will repeat this auction in the future. I will keep watch. If anyone wants a TRA-CON style kit this is the way to go. It will be a fresh unit and what gear you don't fancy easily sold or traded. I'm very grateful for your posts on this subject, saddened, that I missed the auction, and embarassed to admit that I was on eBay all week looking for the fishing kit and I missed completely this great deal on the survival kit. In a phrase, "this sucks." I contacted the seller who confirmed that there is promise of obtaining a kit in the future.

If only I'd cast a wider net when searching on eBay. . . .

Chris, have you aqiured a "fishing kit universal NSN 4220 99 1388693"? If you have I've used one a couple of times in fun on exercise and have made some little additions to it if you are interested.
How the price of over £20 can be justified is beyond me! Do you ever get the feeling that you may be getting ripped off?

Johno,Thats the one. I have tested 4 kits appropriate for fresh water, speed hook,gill net, my own PSK mini kit and tackle improvised from native and general materials. Hopefully I will be on the ocean soon to review several dedicated salt water raft kits.
