I just read Last of the Breed by Louis L'Amour. First of all, it was entertaining. Secondly, there was a lot of information on wilderness survival in the story. Just thought I'd pass it along for what it is worth.
Excellent story. A modern book for L'Amour, not a western, but a good survival story in a harsh environment. Sort of forgotten about that book need to read it again sometime.
