Ok folks I need to pick your brains..
After 32 years of working as a welder, my Pops retired and got a job working in a rock quarry. He asked me the other day if I knew of any flash lights that ran off of 9volt batteries, he is using one of them 6 volt lanterns that you by at wally world for a few bucks, but the batteries don’t last him to long, and he has a bunch of 9volt rechargeable batteries. So I figured I would ask around, and then I thought better of it and figured I would ask here, were I could get a lot of good info from a wider bunch of people.

So do they make them? And if they do are they worth a crap?

Thanks for your help

The last thing I bought that used the ol' 9 volt "square" battery is the GE transistor radio that I bought when I was in Boy Scouts back in 1980. Bought it so I could try to listen baseball games when we into northern Wisconsin for camp (Camp LeFeber IIRC). (At that time, none to be found.) I still have that radio, and it is in my bug out kit at the moment, and I check it seasonally with whatever sporting event is going on at the time here in the greater DC area. Still works after 25 years.
