Where can I buy hats for a 7 3/4"+ head? I know of only one place, Duluth Trading, to purchase baseball caps.

Any other sources to help out a fathead? :-)

Tilley hats come in larger sizes. My favorite is the T3.

I bought mine from http://www.noggintops.com , if that helps.

I've used Big Head Caps and been very happy. I've been very, very happy actually. I've been playing the cap game for years. "That looks nice." Try it on. Does it fit? Rarely. If they fit around my head they ride up high like a beanie with a bill.

My in-laws travel a lot and like to bring back souveniers. They often bring me caps though I have told them they never fit. I told them I order my hats from an internet store for big hats, and they still keep bringing them to me. My wife has a large selection of ball caps now.

For the record, I wear a size 7 7/8 or 8 hat.

What's even more fun is looking for a bicycle helmet. Like my hats I usually wear them past their prime because of the pain to replace.

Maybe you need to go to a "headshrinker".

Gad you guys have small heads - I can FIT an 8 1/4 - barely - I should wear a 8 3/8 or so, but the biggest Tilley makes is 8+ (which is 8 1/4)

All good -- I just think of my head as being in the 99 percentile bracket
