My g/f's son plays Pop Warner football, and we went to the game this morning. It was raining, hard. One of the rules is that every kid has to play in at least 10 plays from scrimmage. Each team sends a fan to the other side to do "stat-tracking" which is overseeing the other team's checklist of plays per kid. So one of the coaches asks me if I could go over to the other side and do it.

I get over there and their tracker has a clipboard with their roster on it. It's already soaked. He pulls out a standard ball point and tries to write with it. He says, "I don't think this is going to work". So, I game him my brand new Fisher Bullet Pen (first time I've used it since I started carrying it a couple weeks ago) and said, "this writes in the rain". It worked flawlessly, even on soaked paper. At the end of the game he said, "I don't know what we would have done if you didn't have that pen".

Being equipped works in the most unusual situations.

You should tell them about "Rite in the Rain" printer paper too.

I had some of that too, but they have a required form with preprinted rosters, signatures, etc.. Fortunately, most of the games aren't in that kind of weather.

Rite in the Rain also makes injet and laser/copier paper.

I got mine from someone on CPF. Before I found that, I was going to buy from Tad Gear
