If you look around, and a little bit lucky, you can find a brand new USGI blanket still sealed in the heavy plastic bag. Makes for cleaner storage...

I love poncho liners, those, along with the P-38 have to be two of the greatest pieces of military gear ever. They are somewhat fragile, and not as warm as a wool blanket, but I still love 'em. The Thinsulate ones might be even better, but I have never tried one of those...
