On this momentous day in history, I want to express my condolences to all the victims of 9/11 and their families. I hope the families with best wishes in the future.

Amen! But we've got to Remember and Extend Condolences on *More* than just Today! More than just this one particular time of year. Wher've we largely *Been*!, -like 4 and a half of these last 5 years!? (As well as a Decade or two or three before?). We've got a Good Refresher and Reminder today. But if our original 9-11 Experience and Lessons of 5 years ago in many respects Lasted well Less than that first year!, -then how's our Present one day Remembrance, -however Good, -however Sincerely Meant and Done!, -gonna *LAST* anywhere near as Well?!? [color:"black"] [/color] [email]picard120[/email]

While the other staff were watching the towers fall on the news during work 5 years ago, a physician asked me if I had any "words of wisdom" regarding the attacks.

The only thing I could think of at the time was:
When Rome fell you know what happened? Farmers still planted crops, babies were still being born, carpenters still built houses, and I have patients to take care of.

Maintaining business as usual and living well is often the best revenge.

And the rest of the free world.
The word is:
9/11 and no quarter.
