can anyone recommend a survival school for a survival course that covers the basics...maybe a mix of primitive and modern techniques.
Each one i find on the net has a group of fans and detractors...example the Tom Brown school.
Thanks for any recommendations.

Two you might want to skip are the Boulder Outdoor Survival School (BOSS) and possibly Outward Bound. Deaths from management/leader stupidity isn't a good recommendation.
