I said it isn't a minimum EDC.

EDC stands for Every Day Carry. (like you don't know that....) The stuff to help you with the everyday problems wich we all face.

That can mean providing First Aid, using a flash-light, or having a multi-tool handy.

I don't thing you'dd have to purify your water everyday? Or start a fire in the city? Those things are a bonus on your EDC.

But then we're talking about Survival, the PSK's and UPSK's, That you described with your tin.

(BTW: my EDC provides first-aid, shelter (poncho),flash-light and tools. My PSK can take over from there. )
